I was correcting Scumbria's misstatement when he claimed the P4 cache was 8K. He didn't use any units either so I followed his lead. Now if it will please you, then I will agree. The P4 has 8KB L1 data cache and 12K L1 uop cache. In either case, claiming as Scumbria did, the L1 is simply 8K was wrong.
