Jay - we elect you to the esteemed postion of Chairman of the Fed! If only we could have had Americans not so asleep at the well, conserving and hording capital in the long boom Not selling out the country with this One World Order and shipping all the manufacuturing overseas. And Americans just living to fat on the hog, well beyond their means and not looking toward the future. The sad reality is the American people have been sold out, and the rest of the world will suffer as well. It is my hope that this all corrects itself, that our financial system does not collapse. But right now I am hudling in a dark corner of my mind, shaking in fear. Meanwhile the drunken and excuberant party rages on outside the walls. Get ready to rally! I hear the cry. May we all see the tide turn, but bottoms are nothing but talk, the great game is over for now - and we can only hope the rest of the air is let out of the engine slowly and not in a panic. My prediction of a bottom of 1300 to 1500 will come true - my fear is we see the 800 I have always pictured in my mind. By then the apple sellers will be all over wall street along with the bankers. And why - one reason, DEBT! Pure and simple, Americans just were not willing to look to the future, the 90s' are like the 1920s - greed and glutony. Only looking at the day and no focus on the future. And the few that did, stay conservative, live simple - not fat and debt ridden - will be forced to pay the piper with all the other revelars outside the walls. Partying on and on - into the night!
