Heinz:

As noted, I have been acquiring gold stocks merely to provide a cheap hedge against a currency collapse. But the whole environment is changing as many of us well know. I think the physical gold shortage has become so large that a short squeeze is inevitable.

Remember the line-ups at the banks to buy gold way back when? I am now buying more gold stocks "for investment purposes". (g)

I am also aware of certain funds that have decided that a "nil" allocation to gold stocks could prove embarrassing if gold were to turn, hence the first small positions are quietly being put in place.

This is simply another of those remarkably obvious things that folks will look back on and say, "Why didn't I do something about it when I first noticed it?"

Best, Earlie
