Actually, whenever I discuss current events with people these days I always bring up the fact that the Bush tax cuts are needed to get US out of the recession that Clinton-Gore left the US.

Even those somewhat wary of large tax cuts under most circumstances never object to accurately crediting Clinton-Gore for their recession.

Don't you find it bizarre how Dems try to give Clinton credit with the boom that resumed in March 1991 - almost two years before he first disgraced office - and yet somehow, in a fit of lying so Clintonian in character that it must be a type of mental illness, try to blame Bush for an economy that was on the skids months before he took office?

Actually, the Clinton-Gore recession has a bright side - it will help pass the Bush program, establishing for Bush the type of success Clinton never achieved.
