I doubt that many leaders of corporate america would condone chaining people to their workbenches or making them defacto slaves Condone it they do by remaining silent while their contractors do this exact thing. And later if caught they will claim they knew nothing about it because the work was contracted out. To make it even better, they have the audacity to repudiate the practice when in fact they know that practices like this are taking place- how else could any contrator get people to "work" for those wages. Don't assume that $1 a day somewhere isn't a good wage. Please tell me you are not serious. Try living in any part of the world on a dollar a day- this is the approximate UN poverty line by the way. Before you go and say how great something is, try it out yourself first. My guess is that it would not be acceptable if it was someone in your family subjected to these conditions. Brian As an aside, I have not purchased Nike products for many years and yet I can run and jump as fast as ever?!?! Maybe it's not the shoes as they claim.....LOL
