surf, my concern is not so much the CURRENT state of affairs but the macro picture and its effect on QCOM's earnings. It is pretty clear that we've got major debt out there and major infrastructure providers like LU are having a very difficult time. Phone sales are not going to take QCOM where we all think it should be. THERE HAS TO BE A MAJOR BUILD OUT of CDMA INFRASTRUCTURE...and fast. Yes CDMA chip sales are going as expected for now...but will it continue? I don't know and there are enough questions out there that bring that concern to the forefront. If indeed things do slow up, the official announcement will be long after the stock is $39 or lower. THAT is what bothers me and that is why I have taken a very defensive position.
