I didn't say I would like to live on $1 a day and it is a spurious argument you are making. I have to recover my investment in an education. But for someone who is getting zip they may well opt for something over nothing. As I said earlier I have seen one school girl support a family of seven on factory work and she still attended school, by the way. That is a miracle for her family. Should she be getting more? That will come as she builds skills, others in her family get similar work, etc. The implication of your approach is none of the seven would have a living - how is that better?
