Dan,
I've been Fred Hickey's subscriber for a year (just renewed).
He has been extremely bearish on tech. He was very right on fundamentals, the only problem is when the market becomes aware of same fundamentals. He called "Nuclear Winter" very early in late 1999, but it was a mania, so nobody cared about fundamentals. I think when tech shares crash completely he'll be able to provide good long stock picks. He doesn't recommend to short stocks. He buys put leaps. I don't like buying leaps. MB taught to aim to at least at quadruple. It's hard to get a quadruple with some stale leap.
About "Technology Investor". What I understand it's one report a month, right? Do their picks jump on that day like Gilder picks used to do? What kind of daily updates do they give? Do they send you an e-mail? Is it for day trading? Do you think they do "front running"?
Thanx - ild
