Pretty silly, dontcha think?...could anyone imagine this sort of censorship for The Stones, The Beatles, Lenny Bruce, Elvis, Howard Stern, SNL, EMINEM, or a whole host of others?...further, who would have thought that the internet/SI of all places would be a hotbed for repressed McCarthyism?
I also love the idea that while I was suspended, good ole Bob seems to have had some problems of his own with a need to purge messages deemed inappropriate and had to request that Jeff delete the message in question...funny thing is, I don't believe he was ever suspended...go figure!...perhaps he and TLC could rewrite SI TOU to read: "you cannot be booted for posting material, non-public information about companies, without the authorization to do so, so long as you call your buddy Jeff in admin soon after the entire SI community has read your post to request that he delete the message, even though the 15 min edit window has expired."
