It is...to consumption to feed our "burgeoning" economy. Can you imagine that they are coming out with a credit card tied right to your home mortgage/equity. People will be paying for groceries and dinners and movies and clothes through their home equity. If there is one thing the U.S. consumer has shown, it is that they have NO clue how to handle consumer credit (average per capita credit card debt now stands at over 8000). -dave
