...if you are using File Allocation Table 16 (FAT16)... I'm surprised you're using FAT16! I'm using FAT32, so I don't get a pie either, but I do get the number, and can use it in the calculation. I'm lazy, so I use Norton System Doctor and display a meter that measures this and displays the result. Norton calls this value Slack Space. Sounds like a corner in my closet. Cheers, PW.
