Diamond H/Maurice..

From the statement presented on Friday..

dailynews.yahoo.com

Amid a plunging stock price on the Nasdaq on Friday, wireless communications technology provider Qualcomm Inc. (NasdaqNM QCOM) said demand for certain technology remains consistent with targets.

So does that mean that "certain technology" does not remain consistent with targets?

How do you read this??

Why didn't they just say.. "Earnings are in line with guidance"?

I am sure someone will ask that "all important question" on Tuesday Morning!!

BTW... Maurice.. Regarding "the son of PDQ".. Here is a draw back that did not occur to me until I listened to an announcement on my Southwest Flight from Phoenix this morning.. (I went over to Phoenix to snoop around the Iridium Gateway in the ASU technology park).. The announcement stated something along the lines of .. The FAA requires all cell phones or "Multi-functional Cell Phone Devices to remain "off" during flight"..

Yikes!! I never even considered that!! If you own a PDQ, or the "son of PDQ".. You can not even use the Palm Pilot features of the phone during flight!!

Are they going to have a "display area for Globalstar, at the meeting, at all this year?"
