Of course, the trigger starts in certain industries, but eventually everyone is usually affected, no? It flows thru real estate prices, less demand for many goods and services across the country......etc. How can such a large secular problem be confined?

Of course, some areas worse than others (Houston '82 worst than Memphis '82), California '01 worst than Florida '01? Some industries worse than others. But we are all usually affected. The stock market being the best example (Dow stocks not hit as bad as Naz, but still hit..with more to come)..

Thinking out loud here...I guess I really don't understand the purpose/nature of your post...was it directed at something I said/posted?
