Peter,
I did think you had written those posts, and carelessly did not research the posts on Raging Bull. I apologize.

However, I think my point stands. The author of those posts talked about "jumping on the bandwagon while the stock is on its way up." I take this to mean he is going long and hoping someone else will pay even more for the stock in time for him to get out before the pump is exposed. I agree that exposure and short selling is an appropriate response to a stock that is grossly overvalued based on false information. It strikes me that someone gets screwed anyway, and it would be preferable if it were more difficult for crims to do this, but unless you work for the SEC, I won't lay that responsibility on you.

Sorry for the screw-up...I've enjoyed my tenure as board moralist immensely and I hereby resign.
