Well, Andrew Sullivan, even when he was heading The New Republic, never was much of a Clinton fan, except in the few instances where Clinton rejected Liberal orthodoxy.

Unfortunately for Clinton's reputation - whatever little positive there is - whenever Clinton did do good in rejecting Liberalism, it was not out of principle. Clinton acted out of political expediency.
