Mika: Hope you have a great afternoon, evening, week, month and year.

Your viewpoint and expertise are helpful, since few here have the understanding of the European scene that you do.

Your views on GPRS are especially useful, since in the real world, GPRS is the competition to CDMA One and its upgrades in the next 2-4 years.

No 1999 version of W-CDMA, such as that due from DoCoMo in Japan, or the 1999 W-CDMA (UMTS) Isle of Man or Monaco tests seem to even qualify for the 3D designation, since speed is estimated to be around 64 k - the equivalent of the CDMA I-95B now in use by KDDI in Japan.

When you have time, please weigh in here again.

Look forward to that.

Best as always.

Chaz

PS Good luck on your article.
