Throughout all history, there have been folks who have endeavoured to control financial systems. And in some cases, they have been successful for reasonably lengthy periods of time. That said, the ancient art of expanding money supply has always ended in nasty circumstances.

Yes, I think there are folks who endeavour to control the financial situation today, but from my perspective, they are being overwhelmed by events. A perfect example is the gold lease game. I suspect that it is in the process of blowing up in their faces. Time will tell.

Anyway, glad to see you airing your views as that is what keeps us all thinking.
