Don't get me wrong. I am a very difficult Daddy I think, but I see way too many fat, lazy kids and there is no way I will accept that. I like to think of myself, probably in error, as the really hard teacher you dreaded facing off against but those were the teachers that you carry inside you throughout your life ....and when they heaped praise it really meant something

and you will never see one of my kids acting up in a restaurant..OH no. THe punishment for that behavior is illegal in some counties<g>

When we lived in the city we would go on these hikes down on the greenbelt. Pretty rugged..No one was ever allowed a piggie-back. Even the 2 year old had to carry her own water and make the trip within her means (much to the chagrin of mom). This little gal, now almost 7, could quite possibly end up being my toughest competitor of the whole bunch. I call her my "Sweet Petite"...LOL!!
