People will occasionally watch a film trailer, but they won't watch news commentary, polo, and classic car stuff. The news they can get on TV and there is little interest in polo and not much more for classic cars. You won't get widespread interest until most people have broadband and that is 3 to 5 years out. Besides Ampex has proven they know little about the internet and apparently have little capacity to learn, therefore they should stick to what they know best, data storage. When you think about it it is zonkers to quit what you have been doing for over 50 years to start something you know nothing about!
