Scott, ftth, and Ray- Thanks for the detective work. I'm glad Ray brought it up the stat, Scott found a url, and ftth seems to have nullifed the article's theory.

I am finding it hard to imagine Internet use dropping. Just makes no sense. I don't know of a single person who has dropped their Internet use after getting online. 100% of the individuals I know have increased their use.

At a luncheon today, the subject of the Internet came up(which it always seems to in all types of social situations) and everyone at the table spends more and more time online today. Consider that not a single person was even on the Internet one year ago.

And consider, as the article Scott posted points out, just a single killer app like Napster crashed many a university network. Just one single (legal) killer app could do wonders for capex spending plans of the SPs. -MikeM(From Florida)
