Fresh water can be created if you have the energy that's why I said energy was the key problem not water.


I suppose it's possible that everything could work out fine, as you project. However, it's not even remotely assured. Why would anyone want to take that big of a risk when we can avoid it so easily by just not growing our population so quickly? What is it that's so appealing about having a bazillion people on the planet that we would want to go so far as to use scarce energy to produce fresh water, for heaven's sake?
