re:"Do you blindly follow and defend a leader regardless of his/her less than ethical
behavior? .."

To quote a president whom I'm sure is dear to your heart, "there you go again"....you guys really don't get exhausted... But let me try to answer the question I've heard ad nauseum one more time. First of all, human
beings don't usually select their political leaders because of their morals ....they select them for ideology, leadership skills , charisma, and hopefully for honesty and integrity. We select our religious leaders for moral leadership and I might add, we've had plenty of disappointments here in recent years. I personally don't care to know about anyone's sex life and the majority of Americans feel the same way (ref: Clinton's escalating approvals during the Starr witchhunt). The only person who should have cared about Clinton's indiscretions was Hillary. The only reason we heard about them was because the right wing couldn't nail him on anything else but the revelations only showed what hypocrites they were. I speak, of course, of Newt, Henry Hyde, Dan Burton, Bob Barr, Chenenworth, and now Geo. W. Do your children emulate them?? I also maintain that just about anyone will lie about their sex life....would you like to take a test? And 10's of thousands of times a year they lie about their sex lives under oath, ie in divorce cases. And yet there has only been one case(I think) in the last 100 years where perjury was charged. So yes, I admire Clinton in spite of the sex scandal and think he was the best president we had in my lifetime. If honest to god bribery can be proven, e.g. selling a pardon, I'll change my mind, but money that is nothing more than garden variety hard or soft funds "with no strings attached, of course" is merely US politics as usual. And if we really want to stop this practice why don't the repubs support McCain-Feingold? And while I'm on the subject of lying, does it bother you that Reagan, et al sold weapons to the enemy but in his mental condition couldn't remember doing it? How about Geo. Sr. not remembering sitting in meetings discussing the sales....he couldn't remember either despite contemporary notes proving it. Isn't selling weapons to the enemy treason? A whole bunch of folks should have gone to jail for that, but guess what, they were pardoned. So if you think sex in the White House is worse than selling weapons to the enemy, be my guest. But don't be sanctimonious and talk about children's models. After all, it was Ken Starr and the repubs who made oral sex a household topic of conversation. It was Ken Starr who published a government document detailing sex acts and practices for no known legal value. Do your kids listen to Rush Limbaugh...in the NY area a high percentage of his commercials are selling sex products such as aphrodisiacs, sex enhancement pills, etc, and Rush spent a good portion of his program recently discussing an "orgasmatron"... Any hypocrisy here? I'm honestly coming to believe that conservatives are sex obsessed.

Now as regards Hillary, I haven't seen anything yet that has proven her guilty of anything, and it's not because your side hasn't tried their damndest. The connies are so frightened of that woman it's laughable.

You've got your honest reply.....
