I've encountered some skepticism by friends on the P38 project. Mostly just a feeling that if big pharma can't overcome the tox issues, it's unlikely that SCIO could unless they simply lucked out (always possible, of course).

One friend also pointed to how cautiously VRTX was proceeding in their trials of VX-745. Note also that VRTX has already advanced two backup candidates:

I plan to hold SCIO for Natrecor approval, and then take another look.
