Hey, Guys: I do understand how everyone feels and share your pain. I love the technology VRTY produces and strongly believe it is a great stuff. However, you all must be a bit more objective -- the Chief Guy is buying all these companies as a part of a strategic plan that is 3 years long! What do you think it will cost in R&D expenses if they (VRTY) will start developing this on their own? It will NOT be cheaper. Is he gambling with these investments -- YES! Will they pay off -- they better or he will not be around! EPS est. for FY'98 is 0.21 cents. They must do an average of 0.5 cents a quarter for the next four periods. We will see! As I have mentioned many times before -- get out now if you can't wait. Go invest in DELL, COMPAC, IBM, USRX -- these companies are producing money NOW! However, if you have patience, stick with it! If they do not meet FY'98 estimates -- I believe Philippe will be out and someone will take it over! Good Luck to All! Jack
