To All Muscleheads, Well, my goal this year is to add a total of 100 pounds to my one armed deadlift. Folks, let me tell you, my spirit may have been much stronger than my grip on that one. With nearly two months gone, I have added 12 pounds, and as I learned with the bench press last year, the early months are the easy ones. Balancing a heavy Olympic bar with one hand is tough as the weight goes up. My weak spot is definitely my grip. But at least I have gone beyond 50% of my two handed best, so I'm making some progress with the awkwardness.
I'll keep you posted on this one, but, so far, the extra weight is coming much slower then with the bench press last year. |
