To Maria and all,

Has anyone else notice a decline of sporting goods stores that carry
Oakley? I have looked recently in my favorite cycling shops and found
absolutely no Oakleys. I am friends with some of these store owners
and when asked, they remain tight lipped about why. I must interpret
their silence as another outlet selling for less. I would as well
assume that outlet to be Sunglass Hut. If Oakley has cut such a deal
put all of their eggs in one basket, they are surely not looking at the
tremendous volume of customers who would possibly purchase high priced
goods while already having their credit cards out. Cyclists spend alot
of money for their sport/hobby. They also show alot of purchasing loyalty
to their favorite bike shops.

I do have a position in OO. Wondering why anyone would bind themselves
so tightly to an outlet that isn't in the mainstream of sporting
functionality. Any thoughts are appreciated.
