christopher it's totally up to you, but if you like you can post a list of your startup items from scu and let us pick through it for you and share what we know about what each application is for. some items will be familiar to us and some will probably be unknowns. you really can't hurt things in there, with just a reasonable amount of care and attention to what you're doing. it's not like editing the registry. :) mark
