Doctors suspended for wrong brain operation

NEW YORK (AP) -- A hospital has suspended two doctors for allegedly operating on the wrong side of a man's brain. The patient, listed in stable condition, was identified as President George W. Bush. The Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn and the New York State Health Department are investigating the circumstances that led the doctors mistakenly operate on the left side of the President's brain

"We looked on the right side and there was nothing there", said one of the doctors. "We mistakenly thought we had found a walnut but it appears that it was the Presient's brain after all". The President when asked about the operation in his news conference said "We all must know ourselves or nobody else will recognize me. He then left for Crawford Texas where a multi-county search is still underway for a child who was left behind.
