If they can bend some important politicians in the US then I would say, yes. I believe the ANC and Uncle Bill have a good argument that the "cabal" and the low gold price has had a very destructive effect on Africa. Whether it's true or not is another question entirely.

I ask you, who wants a bunch of screaming savages on their back so, if all it takes to get rid of them is that POG goes up a bit, then what a pleasure. And, it makes some politician look good, too. And, who pays? Short sellers. No problem.
