The announcement was originally scheduled for 5:00 pm today. Modem Media is delaying the announcement pending completion of its regular quarter-end impairment analysis of the goodwill recorded in connection with its February 2000 acquisition of Vivid Holdings, Inc. The amount and the timing of the non-cash charge, if any, resulting from the goodwill analysis is still under review. As of September 30, 2000, $56.0 million in goodwill associated with the Vivid transaction remained on the Company's balance sheet. Modem Media expects to announce its results promptly after the completion of the review and will send out a press release with the information on the rescheduled call as soon as it is available.
