Somaliland: EU delegation arrives for three-day visit Report by the Somaliland newspaper Mandeeq, in Somali, on 27 February A four-member EU delegation arrived yesterday in Hargeysa, Somaliland. The delegation which we saw at the Mansoor Hotel last night, did not disclose to us the purpose of their visit. However, other reports we received from the delegation say that its mission is to discuss the relations between the EU, Somaliland and the region at large. The delegation which was led by lady Inga Bjork Klevby who is a Swedish envoy in Nairobi is expected to hold talks with President Muhammad Ibrahim Egal, today. The three-member delegation which will stay in the country for three days, comprise Ms Inga Bjork Klevby who is the Swedish ambassador to Kenya, Mr Leo Willems, who is the Belgium ambassador to Kenya and Dr Christian Manahl who is the EU representative to Kenya, Somalia and Somaliland.
