Electronic Billboard Technology Launches Test With Major Quick Service
Restaurant Chain

AUSTIN, Texas, Feb 27, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Electronic Billboard
Technology, Inc. (EBT), a subsidiary of SI Diamond Technology, Inc. (OTC
Bulletin Board: SIDT) today announced a test of several products with a major
Quick Service Restaurant chain.

EBT has installed its E-Window and E-Banner display products in several
locations for the test program. The test is expected to produce results that
include an increase in the store's average check and an increase of unit sales
for items that are featured on the displays. The test will run through June of
this year.

"We're very excited about the QSR test," stated Marc Eller, Chairman and CEO of
SI Diamond Technology. "The QSR market is a perfect environment for our
live-action video technology. We're confident this non-traditional point-
of-sale vehicle will have a significant impact on their business."

In addition to the increase in average check and specified unit sales, the test
locations hope to realize several other benefits of the technology. Those
benefits include attracting new customers, driving traffic into the location
through this eye-catching point-of-purchase medium, the ability to customize
messages based on traffic patterns and more.
