Well, I knew that was coming. Rick turns bearish when QCOM is at $87. First people start saying I am a contrary indicator and it is time to buy. Wrong. Now you say I am short. Wrong. Is is possible that despite the public statements from management and the wishful thinking here that the slow down in tech in general and telecom in particular could effect QCOM this year AT SOME POINT? EH? Remember that little "slump" comment last year...when people were still predicting $2/share earnings around here? I am beginning to see the danger of the myopic view I once shared with some of you guys. >>>Q said no slow down in their earning report and you said earning warning. Q said CDMA is on track and you said earning warning. Irwin said we have more demand than supply and you said earning warning.<<< Chambers at Cisco and Dr. Scott at Sun said similar things a few months before their warnings as well. ...short QCOM?..what a joke...
