Well, when Al D'Amato held hearings on the FBI files, the witnesses had mass amnesia. It was a wonder they could remember their names. Starr tried to break the conspiracy of silence, by leveraging Vernon Jordan, but Jordan swore he didn't know anything about Monica except that his buddy Bill asked him to help out, and who could prove otherwise?
