Jon, you really should go back a few months in this thread. All that has been covered. And I mean covered well. The gist of it is this: we all know Zip disks must come down in price eventually. We trust KE knows this too, and he knows when he must do it better than anyone on this thread. Like all longs, we implicitly place our trust in the management, or we would not be here.
Zip backward compatibility with floppy, or a downward reformulation is not going to happen. If that's what you need, you better sell. But either of those things you suggest would kill Zip, IMO.
