Richard, mind if I ask what you meant by "...had been paying 2X for the installed program...". I'm wondering whether I am also paying more than I need to?

I have for some time used the installed program (WOW Day Trader Internet) along with the WOW data service from WOW.com. (The data is in the same format whether you are using the Web-based service or the installed program.) Using the two together I can do EOD scans and I have rigged up a way to do intraday scans.

I pay $80 per month for the data service. (unlimited data, but no L2)

I also have had problems with the data service "stalling out" on me, but not often and that only started happening to me in the last couple of weeks.

Regarding your question about competitors to WOW:

eSignal - dbc.com

QCharts - quote.com
