CommWorks Launches Global Partners Program
(BusinessWire, 02/27/2001 12:07)

MOUNT PROSPECT, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 27, 2001--CommWorks Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of 3Com Corporation (NASDAQ:COMS), today announced the introduction of a new global program known as CommWorks(R) Community of Partners to support the specific business objectives of its customers and meet the demands of rapid change in the telecommunications industry.

CommWorks Community of Partners program encompasses companies in the telecommunications, computer, Internet and network service provider industries. Participants in the program work closely to place network solutions and advanced technology in the hands of customers.

In addition, CommWorks Community of Partners takes advantage of the program's resources for joint selling, marketing, advertising and other promotional activities. Partners also benefit from a dedicated team that focuses on CommWorks' industry-leading three-tier architecture.

"Working with our customers to arrive together at the right answers is what CommWorks Community of Partners program is all about," said Irfan Ali, president, CommWorks Corporation. "We at CommWorks see ourselves as a problem solver - as concerned with what our customers see as their business drivers and market objectives as with what products we sell."

remotely;

signaling system 7 (SS7) stacks and signaling gateways;

"We believe we can partner with leading product and service providers to enable our carrier-class customers the best possible business solution and most sensible service deployment.
