Hi all; Ooooooooh... A Rambus link we somehow managed to miss last June: Back in January, I had an up-close and personal encounter with Rambus Your Compulsory Ride on Rambus ... I don't envy the many embedded bus/board vendors with Intel-based CPUs in their product lines. They're going to be forced to migrate to Rambus DRAMs if that's the direction Intel is moving on the PC. An embedded board designer I talked to expressed the situation perfectly when he said, "Don't get me started on the whole Rambus thing.
