My critical data is close to 1 GB. That's multimedia projects & graphics, WordPerfect docs, spreadsheets, Data for a Pilot, Quicken Files, etc. I back this up in case of fire or theft. My C: is about 5GB of data, I image that to a second hard drive as mentioned in the link above. Once you start doing this on a regular basis, it's very quick and will become routine.

I also plan on buying a ZIP 250, as I find them very handy. ZIP 100's are just too small.
