hi gottfried as far as frequently getting unique bookmark icons, if i was to venture a guess, i'd say i first noticed them somewhere around six months ago.... max. imo, they are fairly recent little things. but also, i have only been using ie for that period of time (less than six months, actually), and there may be a correlation there. as for living with it.... we're all very happy that you made that choice. <g> can you tell me how long in your estimation these bookmark icons have been appearing (from time to time, and not in all cases) as company logo types rather than just the standard msie ones? :) mark
