Dear Libehussy, Gladys was a stuffed sheep. but maybe she liked it? The poem was the rather wicked idea of a student of mine who had gotten Edvin, another student, the stuffed sheep. When I bemoaned being unable to afford a worthy present she took the little fluffy stuffed critter from a bag and said, "this is Gladys. Write a love poem to her from Edvin". Then she laughed manically. Edvin's blush as he recieved his presents lit up the room and made for a jolly day for us all. Alas, he never looked at me without blushing, and emitting something akin to a giggle, again.
