Jack the least thing that can can be said about Greenspan is ..... that he is very wise.

AG is just is now another senile old man who over reached his responsibility, betrayed the American people and is interested only to save his fellow alchemist who are turning real money in worthless pieces of paper.

AG was effective in 1987 but still was not able to avoid recession as he moved to slow and we paid with a very low growth for 5 or more years during which many lost their homes and businesses.

He flooded the market in 1998 more than needed to save WS fat cats and more so panicked in winter 1999/2000 by flooding again the market with paper money. He failed to foresee the current recession and still is unwilling to lower rates mere due his personal idiotic ego trip.
