Lee, you're right of course. Again, the lack of reasonable PE and PEG standards applied equally, whisper numbers, spin-games, the increase in daytraders, the increase in the number of those who go flat at the end of the day (myself included) which can kill momentum, and others are all contributory factors that change trading patterns, but more importantly change mindsets and psychology.

Monster selling by giant institutions will always override anything we do, but they are not holding as long as they used to either. And I certainly agree Hedge Funds are a major culprit of volatility. I heard they were largely behind ELNT's fall from 60+ to 20 before running it up again to 60 early this year. Daytraders mattered very little in that one.

I'm a bit tired myself. I am sure my cry for sanity is starting to sound like a Susan Powder informercial <g>
