It is funny how the liberals love to complain about the tax cuts going to the rich. Why is it that during all the years they were in power they never offered to cut the taxes for the poor and middle class ? Remember Bill CLinton ran on a middle class tax cut but then never delivered it. He said it was because they couldn't afford it. Instead He raised taxes on them with his gas tax which disproportionately targeted the poor and middle class while having no impact on the rich. Later when the surplus was huge why didn't he push for a tax cut for the poor and the middle class ? .
The stock market increased the wealth of the rich and upper middle class but the poor and middle class didnt have money to invest. They could have used a tax cut.
It was nice how Bush pointed out that the 2k will make a big difference to the family he invited. Of course the elite wealthy in this country don't understand what 2k is to a poor person or a struggling family. They think its insignificant as they spend that on golf lessons or at sushi bars.
