I believe the Yahoo portfolios require that you be logged in as the owner.
You both may even have portfolios with the same 'key' but they will not be the same ones. (unles you both have identical lists :0)

You can set one up on SI and make it shareable though.

Yahoo! Finance - No Such Portfolio
No portfolio exists for the key, 'pf_2'. It may be that you need to sign in again, click on the "Sign In" link below, or "Sign Out", then "Sign In"
