Dennis-- The indexes are not holding up well now. From these levels any huge losses would cause margin calls and panic IMO. That would only cause more selling. I think the mkts are going to slowly bleed for some time as it is evident AG has had no clue on how to keep this economy running for many months. If he is looking for a semi-soft landing now he may be in for a surprise! Looks like crap until sometime in '02 at the earliest. If the lay-offs continue at current rates that could also be conservative. Can't some one fix AG up with a 25 yr old hooker to get his blood moving again?
