Some seem absurd to me already, but they keep getting absurder.

The problem is, how the heck do I know?
I just keep doing what is working. Buy puts on rallies and keep taking profits off the table.

What is really absurd to me is retail stocks like kohls KSS selling at PE of 70. Coke KO selling at pe of 60 with 5% growth or something like that. This really makes no sense. They propped up the DOW, as I said, and in the end it will just make it all worse.

Do we wait for every stock to have a PE of 10. IF so we wait for CSCO to fall to 5 or something? Just what is low enough? Aparently everyone is holding out for ZERO.

What is your take on AVNX? I thought 30 was a good buy but mishbear ain't buying until he thinks he see a turn. A good thing, as I see based on after hours action. 15, 10, 5? How low can AVNX go. Is this another GilderWonder where he is just plain WRONG? Look at GSTRF, STOR, TERN, etc etc.

Did you see this on ITWO. I was ROTFLMAO on Nike allegations.
biz.yahoo.com

Here is the snippet I like best:

On Monday afternoon, Nike announced that it expected its third-quarter earnings to fall at least 28% short of the consensus Wall Street expectation. And, perhaps trying to deflect shareholder wrath, Nike blamed I2 for part of the shortfall. I2 is overhauling Nike's supply-chain system in its footwear division, which provides 57% of the company's overall sales. I2's system, Nike contended, directed the company to stop shipping shoe models that were selling well and produce more shoe models that weren't.

Stories. Every damn one of them wrong IMHO.

Computer growth

By the time everybody and his brother recognized the growth, all the easy growth was long gone and only way way way lower worldwide buildup is left.

Do you believe there is a worldwide recession starting?
Even more scary ... I am not calling this but I do think it is possible. How about a worldwide depression?
