<If effective should hit XAU today & might spread.> That is not the major factor. The key is the revised GDP that comes out this morning. If it is weaker than expected, gold should rebound strongly and the NAZ will sell off. Look at that Price Deflator too. Most Americans have lost confidence in Greenspan.
