hdl, I can't count the number of times over the last year that I've heard - as you've just said for TXN, "Stock ABC is a steal. buy now. you will make good money on this great company with its severely depressed stock. if you look to buy for a few dollars less, you may miss the buy or end up buying ABC at a higher price." A lot of folks are underwater because of this approach. They bought TXN on the way down from 99, when it first established a bottom at 35, traded between ~40 and 50, or at any on the intermediate points in its latest downward slide. Jacob has clearly presented his rationale for determining a good buy in point. I would be interested in hearing constructive criticism or discussion (from you or anyone) that deals with the substance of his approach.
