Re The Effect Of Interest Rate Changes Historically

Hi energyplay,
you wrote "... It takes, on average, 8 months for interest rate changes to affect the economy. ..."

Your statement is about the economy, Not the stock market, yes?
---I've been hearing that many believe the time to buy is when the 3rd cut in interest rates occurs.
That in previous historical periods when a series of interest rate decreases occurred, the stock market responded most positively & reliably after the 3rd cut in a very large majority of cases.
---I wonder if anyone has seen anything in print dealing with this?

regards,
diana
